Day 1
Kochi to Munnar | Explore the Kashmir of South India
Munnar

The driver will pick you up from Cochin International Airport/Ernakulam Junction/bus stand and transfer you to your hotel in Munnar. On the way, visit the Valara & Cheeyappara waterfalls and admire cascading waters amidst lush greenery. You can also visit the Athirappilly Waterfalls, one of the largest waterfalls in Kerala. Once you check in, the rest of the day is yours to rest and rejuvenate. You can explore the markets and shop for souvenirs. Have an overnight stay in Munnar.

Transfer in Swift Dzire, Innova or similar
  • The driver will pick you up from Cochin International Airport/Ernakulam Junction/bus stand and transfer you to the Valara & Cheeyappara waterfalls for sightseeing.

The driver will pick you up from your hotel and take you on a tour of Munnar. You can explore the spice plantations and take in the aroma of Indian spices. You can also visit the tea gardens and see how tea is processed. You may also explore the Blossom Park and walk around the picturesque Mattupetty Lake and Dam. Capture stunning photos with picturesque views of the lake at the Photo Point. Walk around Kundale Lake, surrounded by forests. Have an overnight stay in Munnar.

Transfer in Swift Dzire, Innova or similar
  • The driver will pick you up and take you on a tour of Munnar.
  • After the tour, get transferred back to your hotel in Munnar for an overnight stay.

Thekkady

Post check-out, the driver will transfer you to your hotel in Thekkady. Post check-in, head out for a sightseeing tour of Thekkady. You can visit the Periyar National Park and go on a boat ride on Periyar Lake through the national park. You can also go on a Jeep safari or Elephant ride at the national park. Later in the evening, you can explore the spice gardens or local markets nearby in Thekkady. Have an overnight stay in Thekkady.

  • Thrillophilia reserves the right to rearrange or change the itinerary for reasons that are beyond control like Natural calamity, weather conditions, road block etc.
  • Heavy rainfalls are observed between June – September which means that real time itinerary changes are possible. In case the roads are blocked due to landslides or any other natural calamity, a permit may not be available to go. Thrillophilia will arrange alternate sightseeing for the travelers however cost of alternative accommodation needs to be borne by the customer as the hotels prebooked execute their cancellation policies & are nonrefundable. This is generally what happens when you book the hotels yourself as well.
  • All meals are available only in the houseboat.
  • Any sightseeing point which is not completed due to time constraints, traffic jam, natural calamity, travelers starting late, permits issued late or any other reason beyond control, Thrillophilia does not take the liability for a refund or a discount.
